Full-time Airport Maintenance Equipment Operator, PSM

Duration: Full Time

Pease Development Authority/Portsmouth International Airport is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator in our Airport Maintenance department. This position is responsible for operating the equipment and machinery required to maintain airport operations in compliance with FAA regulations. Essential duties of the position include:

—Operating a variety of heavy equipment, light vehicles, and power and hand tools.
—Documenting work done, materials used and work orders and repairs completed.
—Operating various types of specialized equipment to remove snow and ice from the airport pavements.

A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the operation of heavy equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

A valid driver’s license from the current state of residence and a CDL B with air endorsement are also required.

You must have the ability to obtain required security certifications and badges, as well as work independently with little or no supervision. This position requires the ability to be on call when required.
