Airport Operations Specialist

Duration: Full Time

Pease Development Authority/Portsmouth International Airport is seeking a full-time Airport Operations Specialist. This entry level position works with Airport Operations staff in maintaining the safety and security of the airport in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139, and TSR 1542.

Essential job functions:

• Representing airport management in overseeing daily operations of the airport;
• Conducting airfield inspections;
• Opening/closing airport movement areas as conditions warrant;
• Issuing Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs);
• Shift work, weekends, and overnights, to include some weekends and call-back are required.

Qualifications:

• • A Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or business or related field
  • Relevant aviation experience and/or a pilot’s license or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess the ability to obtain all required security clearances, including a Federal background check
  • Valid, current driver’s license
