We’re proud of The Pease Tradeport  – 3,000-acre, world-class business, and industrial park with everything in place to support your business including freedom from state personal income, sales, inventory, capital gains, personal property, machinery or equipment taxes.

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES

The State of New Hampshire provides financial incentives to assist businesses in relocating to or expanding in the state. All incentives are tailored to the size of individual projects, ranging from two employees to 2,000.

TAX-EXEMPT FINANCING

Industrial Revenue Bonds, applicable to manufacturers and used for building construction or renovation (including land costs and capital equipment purchases) carry interest rates as low as 70% of prime, amortized up to 20 years ($1.5 million minimum).

IMPORT/EXPORT LOANS

Foreign Buyer Credit, Export-Import Bank of the United States and other sources.

LOW INTEREST LOANS

Community Development Block Grant funding can provide loans for infrastructure and related needs. There is also a program with Citizens Bank offering a 3.5% interest rate for loans between $250,000 and $10 million, based on the number of new jobs created.

CUSTOMIZED EMPLOYEE TRAINING

For new and incumbent workers. This program is offered through the NH Community Technical College and provides a 50/50 cash match with the state, up to $15,000 for each company.

TAX CREDITS

New Hampshire offers a program called CROP Zones, which offer a short-term tax credit against the Business Profits Tax.

JOB GRANTS

For companies located in Sullivan and Coos Counties, New Hampshire offers cash grants for hiring above the minimum wage. Grants range from $1,000 to $20,000 for each new position.

LEASE WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE

You may be entitled to a lease with an option to purchase using state and federal grants and loans.

NEW HAMPSHIRE BUSINESS SERVICES INCENTIVES

The State of New Hampshire also offers a network of beneficial programs.

SELL TO THE GOVERNMENT: NH PROCUREMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This program helps New Hampshire businesses of all sizes and types to obtain information needed to bid competitively on Department of Defense, federal, state or local contracts.

HELP WITH EARLY-STAGE RESEARCH: NH INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH CENTER

This program is a subsidized technical assistance program offered by the University of New Hampshire and Dartmouth College. It provides applied and basic research and development, marketing and design of experimental methods.

LEARN HOW TO START A SMALL BUSINESS: SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTERS

This program provides assistance for small business in developing plans, financing and other components of business launch.

IMPORT/EXPORT ASSISTANCE: OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL COMMERCE

This office provides comprehensive resources for assisting New Hampshire companies in global importing and exporting.
